Will a "Creative X-Fi Surround 5.1 USB Sound Card" work with XBMC Live?

I saw an article on Lifehacker, an awesome tech blog and thought about getting an "Acer Aspire Revo" booting from a Live CD of XBMC. But before I do, I wanted to know if my USB Sound Card will work since I want Surround rather than using my TV's Sound.

So, will it work? And if it doesn't work on a clean boot of it, is there some sort of tweak I can use?

Its supported under linux, but not sure if there will be module for it included in the live cd. Still you could get it to work.

If your amp has hdmi, you can use that for your audio too.

I'm using a HDMI video output, I'm just wondering if my USB Sound Card will work with the live cd. And no, my soundcard doesn't have HDMI sound input.
