Hi,
After trying many media center softwares, XBMC has won out it out for me. The only issue seems to be getting live tv to XBMC.
I want to stream the composite video input from a capture/tuner card to all my XBMC units (XBOX, Windows, MAC). I do not need to record TV, I've got my ATT Uverse system for that and I love it.
BUT, I do not want to get a box for ALL my TVs/PCs. I've already got 2 boxes. I'm thinking if I get 1 more and share that one with all my other units, this would be great!
Question: What setup do I need to serve up live video from the capture card to the other units? How will I remote control the DVR box from these devices?
I have read many ways to some what do this on this forum but, would like some opinons. Dedicated server unit?
I would like to serve it from a WindowsXP PC I have to XBOX, other WinXP PCs, and maybe even my MACs.
Any advice would be appreciated!
