I have been using XBMC for a couple of months now. Early builds a few months ago worked like a charm. My rig is as follows AMD 3.2+ system with 2GB, WinXP, and 3x500GB hard drives at about 75% of capacity with 720p movies.

In those few months I have re-scrapped my library for various reasons, totally removed and reinstalled XBMC and userdata. However in the last month or so the latest nightlies, the alpha, and official releases all have the same issues for me.

1. Random crashes, could be do to my OLD video card giving its last dying breaths (Radeon 9800 Pro). However since changing video drivers it seems to have cleared up much of my crashing issues. See attached XBMC log. ATI drivers seem to be flaky anyhow...

2. Scrapping is SLOW as hell, like 2-5 minutes PER movie.

3. Once the entire database is scrapped thumbnails do no show for a LONG time EVERYTIME. If I navigate away from a section of movies thumbnails take forever to reappear...

4. Loss of audio followed seconds later by crashing when pausing a movie then unpausing it. I'll watch for the error message and post it. Of course at the time of this posting I could not reproduce the error.

Anyone with suggestions would be appreciated...

My old log too, when most of the crashing was happening.

I see to have this problem too. Wait a min for them to load, and then scroll down a bit. Then scroll up and wait for them to load again.

PM3 skin and Thumbnail view.
