Suggested hardware

Hey,

I'm looking for a hardware solution to run xbmc and would like some suggestions from people here.

My requirements are for it to play 1080p mkv files, have a ir remote port (i have a universal remote I'd like to use to control it), be as silent as possible, gig-e network and have as little moving parts as possible.

I don't need it to store media (have a NAS) tho it being able to mount a USB drive would be good.

I noticed that boxee has just announced a boxee box (as a sponsor of this site i assume we're allowed to talk about it?) should i just wait for this to come out? xbmc is by far the best piece of media center software on the market that I've seen so would rather stick with it.

The box is for my parents so something that can 'act like a vcr' would be best, any type of fiddling to get stuff to play isn't going to work. Again this being for my parents i'd rather keep the price down as well.

Any tips would be gratefully appreciated.
