Problem with HT-3000, 1080p, LIRC e Proclcd
#1
People, I need Help, lots of helps!

Discription: I bought a HT-3000 case, mother Board M3A78-EM, with a Radeon HD 3200 onboard, a phenon X3 720 black processor and a 1.5tb HD to my new HTPC.

Questions:

1 - Anyone knows if that mobo and it's VGA graphic card runs 1080p in linux? And in XBMC? I have freezes in lots of scenes...

2 - The version os XBMC 9.04 still have that problem with ffmpeg (or mplayer... a problem that made the playback slower, something like that) in Ubuntu 9.04Huh

3 - Anybody know the best configuration for the vga card to play movies?

4 - If I install just the xbmc in the minimal ubuntu, 1080p will work smoothly?

5 - It would make a lot of diference if I use Ubuntu 64 bits?

6 - Anyone can tell me if the remote control pad os HT-3000 should turn the case on from the scratch? Mine isn't...

7 - I'm having problem in getting recognized the control and LCD of the case. As far as I understood, it should appear in the LSUSB, right?

8 - If anyone already was able to make the remote control and LCD that comes in the HT-3000 (which I think it's a very common case), could please help me with a tutorial?

Thanks for any help!

How did you turn off all cpu speed scaling in a XBMC install in Ubuntu 9.04? I could't do this step:
Code:
sudo nano /usr/bin/runXBMC.sh

There isn't such file in my system. Did you just created it?

About the case:

I didn't put the Karmic beacuse it doesn't have the stable 9.04 xbmc.

No imon there. And since the case isn't turning on, I think or the circuit is spoiled or it's bad assembled. I will check this later.

More informationabout the case here
If that's the case, anyone know where I can buy a spare circuit for this case?? ehehehe
