What PPA to use for Nvidia drivers?
#1
At the moment I use https://launchpad.net/~thefirstm/+archiv...ter=jaunty for my nvidia drivers, and there is 190.36 the laters. The updates have worked perfect.

Now I have found this: https://edge.launchpad.net/~nvidia-vdpau...ter=jaunty that keeps the 190.42

What is the best one to use? And can I just add the latest PPA and then let that take over my other, and give me 190.42 instead, without any problem?

The second one. Works well also in karmic. I use that repo since jaunty and never a problem and always updated on the last release.

But can I keep the other, that also bring me newer versions of Firefox and so, and still get the newer nvidia from the second PPA? I don't want to reinstall and fixing stuff. Just want it to be updated correctly.

Just like I use both the PPA for XBMC https://launchpad.net/~team-xbmc/+archiv...ter=jaunty and the SVN https://edge.launchpad.net/~team-xbmc-sv...ter=jaunty and they can co-exist.

EDIT: I just tried, and that worked. If I should remove the other, please tell.
