I dont know if this is common or not, but it's happened since roughly the dx/gl split.

I have a card reader which has 4 or so slots. XBMC shows all of them even when they are empty.

is there a way to disable them?

Below is a screen and a startup debug:



1. since the split
2. Windows 7 32bit (think it happened on vista, but cant be sure)

5. nvidia 7950gt and nvidia g210 in same machine
6. cheapo cmedia 8768+ and nvidias hdmi controller.

Yeah that would be nice. In Vista and Xp you see all drives even though they are empty, but Windows 7 introduced a nice feature which only shows the ones that have memorycards in them. It would be nice if this could be implemented in xbmc

they can be disabled in devicemanager, but it's not ideal.

yeah it's doable but not before Camelot is out. Additional I need something to test it.
