Hi all,
I tried searching the forums, but didn't find anything. Wondering if there is a simple script where you can input online radio station links (.m3u, .asx, .ogg, etc) and then select them from a menu to stream.

Does XBMC support streaming media by default?

i.e. if I was to write a plug-in to play a .asx, would xbmc be able to notice it is a stream and play it?

i know with shoutcast stations you can just put the .pls somewhere that xbmc can acess it and then just open it and it will play the station
