Recording TV shows, what works with the library?

I just switched over to linux on my desktop.

I need to know what will work with the library. When I record shows, I want them to be scraped and added to the XBMC library. Will tvheadend work with the library or should I buy a new card and go with myth?
Use mythicalLibrarian to make a library out of your MythTV files. Leave the recording to MythTV and use XBMC as your library.
