Please excuse me if this has already been handled. I did do a search and never found an answer so decided to post.
I Tried XBMC and have to say was well impressed. So on rebuilding server PC (Running Windows XP). Decided to ad XBMC to it as it not only serves files but is my movie and music hub connected to my TV previously using VLC and an android remote.
All was working well, but all of a sudden the sound is terrible.
It is over amped, distorted etc. I can have VLC playing music away and start XBMC and well if I had a cat it would run a mile!!!!!
So I know it is nothing to do with my PC as all other applications work fine, it is just XBMC. This applies to sound from films or music.
Any help would be gratefully appreciated.
