a few suggestions

1 - Create a fontset with bigger fonts, and another one with even bigger fonts.
Very necessary on any living room situation. An usability improvement should be looked into IMO

2 - Looking the new banner view, Irealized that stars are not so immediate to understand.
Would you consider keeping "full" stars as they are now, and make "empty" stars... empty ? just outlined ? That should be very immediate, and unsensitive to screen calibrations.
