Movie scraping is screwed up on several movies

That link is actually to the trac page for the file. if you follow the link and then download from the "original file" link at the bottom then it should work.

This worked fine but I'm still having the original problem. I have certain movies that I am POSITIVE have fan art but they still wont download. There are even some thumbs that dont download using tmdb and imdb.

Also when I try to change the fanart on a movie that DOES have fan art I select "get fan art" and select one of the remote thumbs it shows a completely different picture then what is actually downloaded.

and where is your debug log?

sorry bout that

if you look at line 900 it indicates that its trying to download the fanart from themoviedb I have scrapers set to imdb and set content through imdb also. When I go into "movie information" then "get fanart" the "remote fanart" pictues are not what gets downloaded if I choose them.

That feature didn't work for me either. And it always only showed one fanart although there was a lot more. Updating the said files made it work flawlessly though! So if you haven't updated your files to the SVN ones, try doing that! :-)

I've done this already and still have the same problem

EDIT: Also for some reason no matter what scraper I choose for movies it tries to download fanart and thumbs from tmdb

EDIT 2: All right I was under the assumption that whatever scraper I choose in "Video" settings was the one that xbmc used to download movie info, fan art, and thumbs from. But this isn't the case for me. It uses whatever I choose when I "set content" and ignores the "default movie scraper" option. I have updated the files mentioned above but still nothing. I think I'm just gonna try a clean install again and hope for the best. Which is the LAST thing I wanted to do seeing as how I always have such a hard time updating xbmc to the latest and greatest version.

EDIT 3: UGGGGHHH I've been at this all day and CAN NOT get this to work. I've reinstalled multiple times and even went so far as to delete the tmdb.xml file and it STILL manages to use it to try and download fan art and thumbs. Heres a another log http://pastebin.com/m2d1aefd7 not that it will help I guess.

You need to replace BOTH tmdb.xml files. The one in the common dir is the one you've missed obviously.
Always read the online manual (wiki), FAQ (wiki) and search the forum before posting.
Do not PM or e-mail Team-Kodi members directly asking for support. Read/follow the forum rules (wiki).
Please read the pages on troubleshooting (wiki) and bug reporting (wiki) before reporting issues.

It's a sub-directory of the video scrapers.

Tried replacing the tmdb.xml file in the common dir with this file (http://www.xbmc.org/trac/browser/trunk/s...o/tmdb.xml) and now when I do ANYTHING that has to do with scrapers (set content or even going into the settings menu and trying to pick the default movie scraper) my entire system locks up till I delete the file I replaced from the common dir.

as per usual heres a log
http://pastebin.com/m35dbc1ea

SWEET FANCY MOSES EDIT: I am a grade A idiot. I was putting this file (http://www.xbmc.org/trac/browser/tru...video/tmdb.xml) in both the video folder AND the common dir like a dummy. Once I put the files where they should be BAM everything started working....imagine that huh.

Thanks vdrfan for putting up with me and trying to help you really did I just need to learn to reed guud.

sho Wrote:This seems to have been fixed in SVN.

You can either choose to wait for the next release, or download the required scrapers and replace them:

http://www.xbmc.org/trac/browser/trunk/s...o/tmdb.xml
http://www.xbmc.org/trac/browser/trunk/s...n/tmdb.xml

worked like charm ! Smile Thank you very much!
