No "server" options in 9.11 ppc settings
#1
I'm new to the XBMC game and I'm trying to get everything set up. I'm running 9.11 on a Powerbook G4, and I just DLed the iPhone remote app from collect3.

I'm running into trouble with the set up, I don't seem to have something configured properly, as I don't seem to have a "server" option in my setting menu.

The network settings screen in collect3's install vid looks like this:

while my network setting screen looks like this:

So, what am I missing?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Now, I am by no means an expert, but it looks like they just renamed and reorganized the settings. "Enable webserver" got renamed to "Allow control of XBMC via HTTP"

As garugaga said, just enable "Allow control of XBMC via HTTP".
That should do it.

I just tried with my PowerBook G4 (9.11 beta1) and it works fine.
In XBMC remote, when you do "Discover Hosts" in Settings, what do you get?
Can you see your host?
xbmc.log: /Users/<username>/Library/Logs/xbmc.log
