Hello fellas,

I have a ION 330 HT I would like to run XMBC on. I have currently installed Ubuntu 9.10 - but to be honest - it is just far too difficult for me to get everything to work. So I would like to go the easy/dark way with an XP install. Does XBMC work ok for Windows? Are there any heavy limitations?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

ok damnit! well.. ubuntu is working fine as of now - but i spent 6 hours trying to share a folder in ubuntu with my iMAC. seems that is impossible.

what i did (loosely).
went into the terminal and wrote: shared-admin
from there i setup a windows SMB share on a folder. i though this was it.. but i cant find this folder on my MAC.

any ideas on this and i will be pretty much home safe. (except ofcourse, i can still not watch my NFL gamespass or NBA international league pass games on my TV).
