Hi there!
I know this should be one of the easiest things to do to your skin but I just can't change the backgrounds for any menu, I must be missing something
I go to settings>skin settings>backgrounds>enable custom backgrounds
then when I try to set the path I get 2 options:
DVD drive or Home folder
I choose Home>Pictures Where I transferred my pics using WinSCP and I get an empty folder
I have uploaded the pics in .bmp and in .jpg with the same results
I have also made a new folder and uploaded them there with the same result
When I check them using file manager I can see them fine.
Please advise
BTW: I'm using XBMC Live 9.04.1
Can't change backgrounds

Ok , it turns out that you cannot see the actual pic that you want to set , you just select the folder and the pic will show.
It would be nice if you could see the pics, but I'm not making the rules here... |

In 9.04.1 it was likely a folder of pictures that you were browsing for, yes.
In 9.11 you can pick a single picture or a folder of pictures. Always read the XBMC online-manual, FAQ and search the forum before posting. Do not e-mail XBMC-Team members directly asking for support. Read/follow the forum rules. For troubleshooting and bug reporting please make sure you read this first. ![]() |
