Once XBMC downloads all the info for you content and automatically creates the sections "TV Shows" is there anyway I can create and Extra section for KIDS TV to keep the kids stuff seperate which just points to a different folder.

I suggest you look here, it may look involved, but it is really simple. (the bug mentioned has even be fixed and will be part of the next beta release).

Thanks. Ill have a play with this when I get home as didnt want all pappa pig, charlie and lola and so on scattered around all my programs.

For that you may just want regular profiles (none of this switching back and forth and custom nfo stuff.).
That's what I do with my kids (they know what to select on startup)
