Found a bug. Add-ons don't work when you launch them from the home menu unless you exit out and launch them a second time. Using latest nightly on ATV2.

Any suggestions?

Can you give me an example of one that's misbehaving and how you've set up the shortcut - and I'll look into it.

Nicely done - ok I see the problem and can replicate it. I'll see what I can do over the weekend. It would be interesting to know if the same bug happens on other skins that use the same favourites method of adding home short cuts.

Metropolis is exhibiting the same behaviour but quartz is working fine.:confused2:

Also, in a future release, is it possible to add a viewtype that's low on resources similar to this http://imageshack.us/f/821/screenshot005he.jpg/

The current ones are kind of slow even though the theme itself is very fast on ATV2 (especially when using the simplified home menu).

Ok I think I've fixed this one - the fix is in the svn. let me know if it works.

Also I'll check out that view and see what I can do.


#Edit nah it's not fixed I'm still working on it - it's hard to pin down as it works first time quite often.

It has never worked for me on ATV2. I guess this bug is more common on low powered machines?

quick question about clearart....is an extra addon needed in order for the "download TV logos and clearart" function to work. Or for the "get art" button in any show's info screen?

Don't seem to be working for me in the latest nightly - but this could just be down to my atrocious internet connection.

Oh, and any luck with a folder instead of a single image for the artist slideshow fallback?

Yes you need the logo-downloader script intsalled - (which you should have).

To be honest it is flakey - like a lot of the scripts are using the nightly builds.

The fallback folder for the last fm slide show is still on the to do list.
