Hmm im not seeing the upgrade to the Beta 2 on the hardy PPA. If i go to the website https://edge.launchpad.net/~team-xbmc/+a...lter=hardy i see the files listed but i cant see them in apt-get.

Hi,

You are using the wrong PPAs. Look at the first post of this thread. You should use:

deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/team-xbmc/ppa/ubuntu hardy main
deb-src http://ppa.launchpad.net/team-xbmc/ppa/ubuntu hardy main

not hardy-ppa

What's with the other updates in the PPA? Are they necessary?

For the moment, you don't really require them. But after Camelot, xbmc may force their installation.
