WHERE I NEED TO SEND CRASH LOGS
Also - few times the sound scrated to scratch and after few seconds of Shoutcast media playback XBMC just freezes. oNCE THERE WAS FREEZE, BUT mUSIC STILL CONTINUE TO BE PLAYED ...
If I run XBMC from GNOME dektop, then - XBMC freezes, but Ubuntu Karmic itself and all apps function ... only problem is that I cannot get back to Ubuntu desktop to Fore Quit XBMC...
IMHO - XBMC is very well designed Media Center solution for non-HTPC, but it is very unstable in the same time. I am considering to go back to MythTV, because it was very good and did not interfere with GNOME. I know - XBMC is not basically designed for Desktop environment, but If you provide such a capabilities, please ensure it works as good as possible ...
If I would have any knowledge about Python / Perl / QT, I would be happy to do something in free time, but Only thing I know is Delphi , basics of C++, HTML and some basics of PHP ... it looks damn interesting software you have ... ;0
Keep up the good worjk and I really hope to see it non-crashing on my PC
