Rip DVD on Input

In order for me to maintain a fully automated Media center part of what i would like to do is to Rip the DVD as soon as i place it in the drive


currently my XBMC runs on startup then i have the option to view a movie or a tv ep or insert a disc what i would love to do is that upon inserting a disc an app starts to rip it immediately is this possible?
to clarify i want the dvd iso to be ripped to my HDD when i place the dvd in the drive.

what sort of problems may i face in doing this?
