May I ask why get this when boxee box is coming for $200 ? Yes I am aware it lacks DVD Drive and Harddrive ..

I wouldn't even think about getting that until someone else actually has xbmc running on one. Who knows what is under the hood, it MIGHT not even be able to run XBMC. Plus, i'd still have to get a Blu-ray drive and a new case - that boxee case is stupid looking.

I'd rather get this new jetaway box for $310 (since it comes with a remote likethe asrock 330 ht)

or build a system from scratch and not use the ion platform at all (i'd like some power if i'm building a pc)

It says barebones. Whats it missing. If its just the keyboard and mouse then thats a good price.

If you have to get a HDD and ram then not as good of a price.

So many new products coming out, it's hard to decide. I was just looking at the Q700 and the Zino too.

I got my ASRock 330 off of Newegg which also lists the system as "barebone." It included the complete netbook "computer". All I needed to supply was the mouse, keyboard, and display.

For $260 that is much more powerful and expandable. Add your optical drive and HD/SSD/Flash drive of choice for the install.
You can have a complete system with blu-ray for less than $400.

Although once they put out an atom box with a pcie x16 slot (or an nvidia ion) in 1U rackmount form, I will get that
