ZOTAC IONITX-A-U and RAID configurations

I'm collecting newegg gift cards from Xmas and looking to build a nice system to replace some of my current stuff.

I'm looking at this board. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...6813500027

It says it supports 3 SATA harddrives, and also RAID of 0/1/0+1.

I don't understand the 0+1, because wikipedia says
"RAID 0+1 (or 01) is a striped data set (RAID 0) which is then mirrored (RAID 1). A RAID 0+1 array requires a minimum of four drives: two to hold the striped data, plus another two to mirror the first pair.

So how does it support 0+1 when there are only 3 drives available?

Also looking at cases and wondering if others have a case with 3 drives and have any feedback.

SATA 3 + 1 eSATA

Edit: Yep, confirmed. The on-board SATA RAID controller on the ION chipset supports RAID 0, 1 and 0+1 (though 0+1 can only be used when using the eSATA port on the rear of the system)
