I have this X128 SSD drive for a while now and my I've been experimenting a bit with it using XBMC. Now, I want to install Live but the installer won't get past install of 'grub-pc' in /target/ failed...
I've tried on different mainboards/chipsets (p965, NV650i) but no succes, I also changed BIOS settings (AHCI, IDE mode) but no good either.
Other drives work flawless.
I can install Win and Ubunto 10.04, during ubuntu install I see the drive is named /dev-mapper/NVIDIA_abcddef or something like that and I choose to install ubuntu on /dev-mapper/NVIDIA_abcddef1 on SATA RAID /dev-mapper/NVIDIA_abcddef, its first partition, with succes so ubuntu is working but XBMClive isn't.
Tried to manually installing grub, but I kind of failed, after the ubuntu install on the same drive I could add XBMC to the grub menu but then something was wrong with the initrd file. Yeay
Is it possible that I'm missing some kind of driver support for this drive?
