Thank you. All I had to do on linux was to switch the font to 'arial based' instead of skin default since my linux system already came with Arial.
I wonder why Arial is not auto detected and used when it's present.

Arial font in xbmc is a full range font, can support almost all language. But skinner like to use some other art font. So default font set not use arial.
