Hi,

I can't find how to keep the info banner (down the visualization) permanently on screen during music playback.

My system :
9.11b2 (from repos)
Skin Confluence
Control : mouse, for the moment

Is that even possible ?

Can it be done with only a remote?

Sure do exactly what I said manually turn it on and leave it on and it should always be on every time you run xbmc until you turn it off again

depends if your remote has a button mapped to showinfo

Thanks for reply

I found Info button, but the banner hide itself after a few seconds

I got asrock ion 330-ht, so remote control don't work for the moment.
I use mouse to control xbmc, it's a bit annoying to press i and the keyboard.

A skin option to get this function permanently should be easy for devs. No ?

Question    Post: #10
From what I understand, if you create an advancedsettings.xml file in the userdata folder with the following contents:

<advancedsettings>
<songinfoduration>0</songinfoduration>
</advancedsettings>

That should get the info to stay up permanently.

What I want to know is how to disable the screen when the song changes and only make it pop up if I press INFO...

Can anyone help me on this, thx!?
