I've installed the XBMC Live cd software ot an OLD PC as it's OS for my parents to use as a media Player.

I've been using the software with out flaw myself and it works great but I want to stream line the process of moving files onto the system as my parents do not have internet and are not computer savy to say the least.

So my thoughts were very simple:

I'll put videos on a USB hard disk that I will use to move them to the XBMC system. I don't want to teach my parents hwo to use the file manager to copy files from one drive to another, they will never remember the steps.

So I need a scrip automate the process of moving files from a usb attached drive to the movies folder of the XBMC system.

I can then set the script as a favorite that they can select.
So it would be as easy as attached a USB Drive and then click the script.
It would copy the contents of the drive to the movies folder.

I however do not know any type of programming so I don't know where to begin.

i've found various scripts for copying movies into to folders using the movies name but nothing as simple as a direct copy from one disk to another.

Can anyone help?
