I'm currently running 9.11 Beta 1 and have ran in to such a simple problem.

I've FTPed over the files in the Milkdrop RAR and for some reason I can't the visualization to show up in my selection. I have ProjectM and a few others.... but no MilkDrop .... I really don't understand what the problem is. What could I be doing wrong?

(I double checked and haven't seen a similar problem)

Milkdrop is shipped with the installer. if it isn't there but projectM you're using the OpenGL build. milkdrop is directx.

Should I just download another installer and take the files from it?

I'm use the live build on an Acer.

You can't use Milkdrop (DirectX only) on XBMCLive (linux based == opengl only). ProjectM (opengl port of milkdrop) is as close as you'll get.

Well damn, I've been banging my head trying to figure it out for 2 days. Now I'm going to go in and delete the visualization that shows, "Project M" bouncing around my screen... maybe I can remove all the super crappy ones and just live it.

I miss Milkdrop
