I did a quick search on the forums and in the archives and didn't find anything concerning my problem.
I have only encountered this problem on a single DVD, so the problem may very well be some kind of faulty print or something, however I still felt I should bring it to your attention.
Anyway, the problem is this: The menus work fine, but whenever I select an item to play the screen goes black. This being because the menu fades to black before playing the item. In reality the video stops updating at all during playback, the audio on the other hand plays as it should.
If I enter the VIDEO_TS folder and play the vob files directly I get both video and audio as expected.
Tested on:
XBOX, t3ch build [Aug 12 2008]
WIN7, build [Jun 2 2009]
WIN7, build [Dec 16 2009] (9.11 RC1)
