How do I go about adding more buttons to the home screen
for example
Movies
Blu ray
music
Tv
Weather
settings
Is there an easy way with out knowing how to write scripts?
Sorry I know its prob common knowledge but I went through all the setting in all the skins and could not resolve it.
I found that vd icon is grey so I added tv hdd to movies directories, still nothing

it depends on the skin you're using.
several skins give you the option to add/remove some predefined buttons to the home menu.

if you want to add some custom buttons, you'll have to get your hands dirty and learn how to skin.

Whuch skin, tried a button customise option on one of the skins and nothing happened?

Confluence allows you to add custom link to several scripts.
in Transparency! you can add things like Comics, Games, Apple Movie Trailers to the home menu.
and some Aeon mods allow you to customize the home menu to a large extend.
