I have opened a bug for 9.11 Alpha and Beta but it doesn't seem to be affecting anyone one else. Still exists in 9.11 Final.
When a video is played from the Recently added Vidoes (Confluence) the menu and navigation sounds stop playing. They can be restored when a video is played from the library.
This is more apparent when switching between an a movie with AC3 and PCM menu sounds.

This also seems to happen on my desktop with no AC3 hardware or Pass Thru.
