for the last 4 or 5 days i've been installing and re-installing various versions of ubuntu/xbmc to get just the right setup i want

anyway, a few days ago i found this guide (http://www.springydevelopment.co.uk/2009...mic-koala/) and followed it and i got the results i wanted however my dumbass decided to play some more so i deleted it and tried setups anway, i wanted to go back to it yesterday and i setup it up again exactly the same way using that same guide again however now i can't get the custom usplash to install

okay .. i figured it out

if anyone else plans on using this guide (http://www.springydevelopment.co.uk/2009...mic-koala/) there is a small typo that messed shit up for me .. not only did it prevent me from installing the custom usplash but also installed xbmc b1 and since i was lazy i never realized this since i assumed i was getting rc1 and final for the past week

anyway, in one of the first steps after finishing installing the minimal base, you need to added repositories to your sources.list

instead of

it should be
