For some of us not fortunate enough to have an audio system connect to our XBMC PCs I would like to ask for a soft mute option that would drop the volume to something like 20% on the first press and then 0% on the second and with the finial press it would set volume back to original level.

XBMC has control of my volume.

Not sure if this is or would be possible, I searched around and really didn't see anything about a soft mute.
