I'm a linux n00b but followed this thread:

and managed to get xbmc up and running on my Acer Revo.
The problem I have is that xbmc will not start on boot. the system logs in as the xbmc user but nothing happ[ens, no error is displayed. If I type "xbmc" it tries to load but says that it can't connect to an xserver. If I type "startx" xbmc will load. This is currently how i'm loading xbmc.
Can any body assist?
