Apparently there is no grub file in /etc/default/ dir...... is grub located somewhere else?

xbmc@dhcppc2:/etc/default$ ls
acpi-support console-setup devpts locale sabnzbdplus useradd
alsa cpufrequtils halt ntpdate ssh
