Today i finally installed XBMC 9.11-Live on my SSD drive.

Everything is working find except SOUND

Somehow I just can get it to work.First of all I tried the next setup:

Audio Output: digital
AC3 : on
DTS: on
Audio output: hdmi
Custom audio: hdmi
downmix: on

No sound.

Then I tried the same configuration I used with 9.04:

Audio Output: Digital
AC3: off
DTS: off
Audio output device: plughw:0,3
Custom audio device: hdmi
downmix: on

Again no luck. Still no sound available.

Anybody any idea how to make this work

Read the ION Guides... and then use the mixer to enable your sound

OK, I did open Alsa mixer and Master volume is already all the way UP.

Also have
PCM: already 100 of 100 (values showed on screen)
front: also 100 of 100
line 100 of 100
iec958: 100 of 100
iec958 d: empty
and
iec958 1: empty

you told us that you have an SSD drive but you didn't tell us HOW you connect your asrock to WHAT setup

see, my revo is connected via HDMI to an onkyo 606 receiver, and bitstreaming works perfectly with the audio setup you posted above

System is connected to my TV by HDMI.

But problem is already solved.
I just upgraded my Alsa drivers using this line:

sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade -y
sudo reboot

And after a reboot sound came back,using the old configuration.
