I can't change xorg or get high resolution
#1
I do not know what has gone wrong, but after I installed a brand new installation of XBMC Live, I do not get the opportunity to switch to, for example. 720p or higher. The highest resolution I have the opportunity right now is 720 * 480!?

I have little experience with Linux, but have tried to add the "Modes" 1280 * 720 "" in "Screen" in xorg.conf file in / etc/X11 /
Unfortunately without success ...

Is there a friendly soul who can help me?

Same problem here, sometime it wont detect correctly 1080p capable screen...
And no way to add proper modelines as the /etc/X11/XF86config get overwritten after every reboot

Anyone has a tip on how to fix this ? Thanks!
