I have a DLP TV, and since it is a rear projection TV, there is some over scan. I was able to compensate by calibrating the screen, but the calibration seems to be reset during video playback. This isn't normally too big of a deal; there is rarely anything interesting at the edges. Unfortunately, the problem also affects non-video elements that are on screen during playback. For example:

Is there a way to fix this?
