[LIVE] bad picture in TV via HDMi
#1
Hi,

I have connected ASROCK to my panasonic plasma via HDMI.
TV gets picture but its kind like if I zoomed for 5%-10%
so that edges are not seen.
I have noticed couple of guids for FULL HD output,
but my plasma only has 1024 x 768 HD Ready.

In XBMC Video settings this 1024x768 resolutions is shown
and it does not help if I change HZ from 50 to 51 or 52 or 53.

How could I fix this problem?
Any clue?

Thanks

Sounds like your TV is overscanning the input, you should be able to use the Video Calibration settings page and move the corners of the screen so that the whole image appears on the screen.

From what I remember the calibration set-up is one menu item below the resolution on the vid set-up page.

Hope this helps

Where is that function? on TV or XBMC?

What is strange is that, if NMT is connected via HDMI which also
has linux the picture is great.

Is there a way to edit config files for graphics?
Maybe update drivers?

Its on the xbmc settings page, right underneath where you set the resolution.
