9.11 Portable option question
#1
Hi,
I have installed 9.11 (in D:\...) and selected the PORTABLE option.
When I launch, xbmc creates this folder in C:\ as shown below... Any way to map all to installation folder in D:\Huh

THANKS...

You have to start XBMC via the start menu link or with xbmc.exe -p.
Otherwise default mode is chosen.

"Portable mode" isn't as complicated as you might think. If you run XBMC.exe with the argument "-p" you get portable mode, otherwise you get default mode. The difference is just where it looks for user specific data. When you choose portable mode during installation it creates shortcut icons with the "-p" argument. You must be starting it from a shortcut you've created manually, in which case just edit the properties and add -p to the Target field.

THAAAANKS...

Now it works. Problem is that I don't create shortcuts from the installer.

Thanks again for the fast support.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!.
