VGA does 2048xSomething the LVDS output is what's limited to 1366x768. Still, without hdmi, I wouldn't waste time. There will be better boards to market. This one is marketed toward ultra-low-priced midrage systems, not HTPCs.

Only mini itx boards i could find that had a mini pci-e extension port with dvi/hdmi out already had a ion gpu on them (most of them were zotac brand)

Has anyone installed the Broadcom Crystal HD Hardware Decoder (BCM970012) in an Acer Revo 3600? If so, did it improve the HD playback? I don't need the WiFi and I still get some stuttering of the video. Maybe this is the solution...

why do you want to put a crystal hd card in an Ion motherboard
The ION chipset already decode HD better than a Crystal HD card. Unless you absolutely want to use Windows maybe.

I want to use Win7 + hardware decoding + subtitle support. That's the reason ;-)
