nope - only VGA out and I read that it has a max resolution of less than 1080P from the integrated video.

VGA does 2048xSomething the LVDS output is what's limited to 1366x768. Still, without hdmi, I wouldn't waste time. There will be better boards to market. This one is marketed toward ultra-low-priced midrage systems, not HTPCs.

Has anyone installed the Broadcom Crystal HD Hardware Decoder (BCM970012) in an Acer Revo 3600? If so, did it improve the HD playback? I don't need the WiFi and I still get some stuttering of the video. Maybe this is the solution...

Will this one from Asrock work with Crystal HD?

why do you want to put a crystal hd card in an Ion motherboard Huh

The ION chipset already decode HD better than a Crystal HD card. Unless you absolutely want to use Windows maybe.

I want to use Win7 + hardware decoding + subtitle support. That's the reason ;-)
