I am looking at getting a motherboard/CPU combo at Tigerdirect. My budget is 150... I will need to run onboard video until I can buy a card. Can anyone give me a suggestion about board or combos from Tigerdirect? I have credit there so that is why I am shopping there.
Right now I am running
1.8 amd
256 mb ATI 9200se video card
1 gig of ram.
It will work but it is a little slow with 100 cpu usage. Will not run the newest XBMC beta.
Thanks,
Greg

This is what I have picked out now. Will this work with the newest version of XBMC? Is this overkill?

Ultra Dual Channel 2048MB PC4200 DDR2 533MHz Memory
Ordering today, if anyone could help.
Thanks

Keep your current setup (if you have SSE3 for VDPAU
Get a GT210 or GT220 card. Don't waste your time with anything else.

Old board, does not have PCI express. Just AGP and PCI slots.
They have these PCI cards.
EVGA NVIDIA® GeForce® 9400 GT 1GB
PNY GeForce 8400GS
