This project has provided two great things for me .
Hardware offload to crystal HD for appletv boxes.
and maybe #2,
Assuming bios is not blacklisted for wifi cards.
can i use the N minipci card out of the appletv in my acer laptops since they have G cards. Would be a cheap upgrade. I may have to buy antenna leads for the third n connector i think. Not sure.
Anyone know where the drivers are for windows?
Can I use the Apple TV wireless-n card in my laptop?

all the way to off topic .at least leave it in the appletv forum please.
Anyways. Confirmed: Win7 picks up the appltv card as broadcom N card. No drivers required. Although the wifi power switch turns it off. So if wifi led is off. It works fine. This can probally be fixed with driver update somewhere. Anyways , thats the answer and sorry for threadjack. |

It's not an "appletv" forum, it's an "XBMC for OSX/ATV" forum. Your post has nothing to do with XBMC, hence is off-topic.
