MythTV DVB-T text / subtitles
#1
Hello,
I use XBMC 9.11 on Linux connected to a mythtv backend. Some of the channels use DVB-T text / subtitles and I cannot use thoose in XBMC. Should it work?

TIA

I also use MythTV with DVB-T that transmits subtitles. They work fine for me if subtitles are turned on through on screen display (OSD) settings.

While playing show the OSD, Choose Audio Properties then Enable Subtitles.

If that doesn't work post a debug log.
Use MythTV for recording TV? Try the integrated MythTV support in XBMC Media Center. Now with commercial skip support built-in and integration with the Movie database!

Hello,
I didn't find anything in the logfile except for a symlink / script error on the first row.
I can press v and choose the teletext page for subtitles. But menu and audio there are no subtitles to choose from.
