Hi,

I have a Zotac ION setup with ubuntu and XBMC working with Vdpau (nvidia 190). I have it working great.

My problem is when playing 1080p HD movies over USB. It plays, so i know the Vpdau is working, but its a bit jerky. only slightly but makes it unwatchable. It is simply because its over usb and it cant handle it or that its a WD My Book with power management.

Does the file play ok if you copy it to the local hard drive? What memory do you have allocated to the video card in the bios? It should be 512mb I believe for best performance.
