I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this but here goes..
Normally I have my Ion HTPC running the latest version of XBMC connected by an HDMI cable directly to the tv and can quite happily output 1080p no problem, I have now connected the Ion to my Sony DG820 amp by the same HDMI cable and now the resolution will not go above 576p. I have tried changing to another input on the amp but still no difference, if I connect the HDMI cable back to the tv it jumps back to 1080p.
Any ideas.....
