Don't know if this info is currently scraped by the imdb scraper.

Current behaviour when "info" is pressed on an actor is to show other films with same actor that are already in user's XBMC library.

IMO it would be really cool if the behaviour were that of a filmography similar to the music libary's "discography" feature -ie the option to view all movies listed on imdb for that actor.

What do you guys think?

Wouldn't that mean that you would have to scrape almost all the movies on IMDb? Because every movie has lots of actors and every actor acts in lots of movies. This would result in a massive amount of data to be scraped.

With artists/bands that's a lot easier because every artist/band has only a few albums (ok there are some bands with a lot of albums as well) but the amount of artists/bands in your library should be significantly smaller than the amount of actors.

As for me, I don't need EVERY actor But main cast of each movie would be great (ie. 5-10 actors). At any cases, actor biography+filmography+borndate = 20 Kb avg (50-100 Kb max.) Thumbnails are same size usially or even bigger, but XBMC Video Library database contains thumbs of all actors.
