Thanks. The Boxeelivecd version is located over here:

I even created a dual boot version with xbmc or either boxee:

when booting up acer revo from dual CD into boxee beta or XBMC live:
nforce2 smbus error, error probing SMB2, device sr0 I/O errors (known ubuntu bug with some chipsets/optical drives), sudo: unable to resolve host/unknown user errors; audio works fine after switching to digital/HDMI (not necessary for XBMC); no menu audio; HD video playback works fine with VDPAU;
interesting observation: CPU load when playing same HD MKV from SMB is (at beginning) far less in boxee than in XBMC, after some minutes into the movie it's about the same low usage (my best guess it's related to XBMC's adjust refresh rate and studio level conversion activated)

really thinking about installing your dual-boot setup to hard disk though I'll be missing the XBMC startup animation; could you give details about installation process/same as xbmc live? when exiting either XBMC or boxee to command shell, which commands start XBMC/Boxee (want to switch without doing complete reboot)

summarizing, fantastic job! XBMC, boxee and VDPAU are now at a very mature level thanks to committed developers and the community. since I still like customizing my HTPC for my needs, I'll stay with XBMC on Ion, but the Boxee Box (I heard it's running on Tegra2) will be a feast!

Cool, might give this a go on my ASRock soo. Although I have the remote working nicely I still have a problem with resume from suspend, works the first time and then auto resumes from that point. So would be interested if this one solved that problem and I could start using suspend rather than shutdown every time.

Also interested in the temp sensors working as I am about to see if I can quieten the 30mm fan down by using some isolation grommets and a in-line resister to slow the fan down.

According to this bug: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+sourc...bug/440470 , adding this line to the boot options will fix the problem.
acpi_enforce_resources=lax

The sudo: unable to resolve host/unknown user errors; is a common problem xbmc live problem. I also have this one with the generic xbmc 9.11 livecd. Anyway. I'll have a look at it!

I have tried

Code:
dpkg-reconfigure lirc

and selected Nuvoton Transceivers/Remotes from the Menu and None for the Transmitter, however the remote still doesn't work.

I wasn't sure I was doing it in the right place. I hit ctrl-alt-f12 then ctrl-alt-f1, then logged in. Was this the correct place?

Thanks in advance.

Does this only work with the HT Asrock or also with the normal Asrock 330 Ion?
