I have recently installed XBMC-Live on a 2009 mini and it works great (1-2% cpu when watching 40Mb/s TS files!
I am using an MCE remote which works really well and I can use it to sleep and resume my Mac-Mini running 9.11 Live just great.
But.... If I use any other IR remote control while the mini is in suspend mode it will wake up. Its weird as only the power button on the MCE remote itself will wake the Mini but if I use the remote for my TV or my AV amp any IR signal AT ALL will wake the mini up!
Has anyone else encountered this behaviour when using an MCE USB receiver and remote? Anyone know of a solution or is it just my receiver? If so, what receivers are peeps using?
I have been trying (and failing miserably) to get the internal IR receiver working on the mini which is support by LIRC, but those attempts have been rather unsuccesful as well
I am only about 4 days in to using Linux so this is all very very new for me
