I have XBOX Live setup on a Revo and it's set to scan for new content on bootup.

However, my issue is this, the library view still shows videos that I have erased from my pc.

I can use the manually remove option for single episodes, but I have folders full of videos that I removed and I have even removed the folders.

Why do they still show in library view? How can I get XBMC Live to remove them automatically from the view?

Use "Clean Library" from Settings.

To remove dead files individually, you can also attempt to play them, and a "Video Not Found" dialogue box will pop up asking whether you want to remove them or not.

You can use this method if you only have a few movies/episodes to remove since Clean Library can take a couple minutes.
