Not sure if this would be the right place to post this, so if it should be asked somewhere else just let me know. Here goes:
I am currently using a pre-Eden nightly. I have a collection of movies that are mostly mkv, iso, and blu-ray folders, all of which are played flawlessly with the new build. I also have a small collection of 3d bluray isos. A few of the 3d isos play perfectly in 2d without using any external player. But it seems most of them have a small problem where they start out and play the first few minutes, then they restart and play about 20 minutes then restart. Now I know that this build is probably not even supposed to play a 3d bluray, but is there any way the built in player could handle this task (in 2d)? I don't mind using TMT5 to play the movies in 3d, but TMT5 has serious issuses playing a 3d bluray in 2d. Most of the time I would rather just watch my movies in 2d without getting out the glasses. Not to mention it's just easier for the wife and kids.
Also while I'm asking difficult questions, is it possible for me to put a separate movie section just for 3d movies, and when I pick out of this section, have it launch an external player just for this section. While also having these movies listed in the general movies section, and having the xmbc player lauch out of this section?
Sorry for all the noob questions, just trying to see if I can make this perfect for my needs.
By the way, thanks for all the latest improvements to make xmbc so great. I can't wait for the AE branch to be merged into the nightlies so I can watch with DTS-HD/TRUE-HD.
Thanks in advance.
